Our Employability Program provides professional leadership to Members who are seeking a path to gainful and meaningful employment. In order to achieve success, our goal is to harness the energy and develop the skills of neurologically different Members and provide the support and training for each to achieve success within their own potential. HUB staff is responsible for setting appropriate expectations for each Member based on individual skill levels; will strive to deliver the developmental tools along with opportunities for Competitive Employability throughout all industries; and will respect and honor all Members’ wants, needs, and dreams. Once this process has set the foundation for movement towards employment, we work with Members to provide support services. These services include weekly Employability Training classes; Resume Writing classes; Job Search; Career Building; Assistance in completing applications; and, Best Practices Interview Skills. Our objectives are to assist our Members in preparing, researching and ultimately interviewing for and securing a job. Success is achieved when our Members are employed and are able to retain the position. Measurable outcomes include tracking longevity at a job, relationships within the workplace, confidence and pride of a job well done, and positive feedback from the employer.
